Sourcing manufacture, importing from China is the key for the success of the company.  Good manufacture will meet the shipment date, cooperate, trustful quality, competitive price.  Bad manufacture can destroy your business especially if the quality of the products is poor, you might face big trouble. 

Where to find Chinese suppliers

The best place is Canton Fair, also the other fairs hold in different cities in China of which more concentrate in particular area.  Hong Kong Fair is the other place you can find the suppliers.  Both shows are just next to each other in dates, and Guangzhou and Hong Kong are not far from each other neither.  Ideally if you are sourcing for new range, you can visit the HongKong Fair first, then heading to Canton Fair.

This is the one of the most exciting jobs I like – Mystery Guests.  I have been done this for many time, however still cannot hold the exciting bit.  Since you don’t know what you going to face, or treat, or what will happen. 

 

One of the best experience was in Beijing.  A city full of exciting.  I visited a newly set up luxury restaurant that famous for sea food and expensive price.  The environment is absolutely great and the service was called – Knee down service, and I believe most western don’t feel very comfortable about, however that the Chinese most liked.  

 

The knee down service is the young waitress ( you hardly see a waiter do it), almost knee down on the floor and you sit on the lower Sofa, they almost kneed on the floor, that why the Chinese call it knee down service.. I personally not sure abut the service, but liked their caring… Food need improve

Business with Chinese

Just read the news that EU planning increase the tariff on the Chinese solo panel for up to 46%, since they believe China dumping the solo panel to EU countries. The interesting thing is many machines that used to make solo panel were imported from England and other EU countries, and it is Britain and EU countries  will enjoy the cheaper deal. So either way, its not the best solution as increase the duty.

Now importing from China is benefiting every individual family in UK, and hardly anyone can say they do not use anything made in China.
